Buckeye Fire Equipment is a full line manufacturer of U.L. listed portable and wheeled fire extinguishers, dry chemical powders, foam concentrates and foam hardware.

Our 165,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located in Kings Mountain, NC. We have sales and distribution centers in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Ohio and New Jersey. We manufacture our steel and aluminum components for our Fire Extinguisher Line. Our 120 ton horizontal press extrudes our 2 1/2 lb. through 30 lb. Steel fire extinguisher cylinders. Other machines produce cylinder bottoms, handles, levers, hose bands, wall hooks, and vehicle brackets. Our automatic screw machines and drilling centers produce all valves, syphon tubes, nozzles, couplings, valve stems, cylinder collars, and other miscellaneous parts.

Our modern dry chemical fill line is the most automated dry chemical filling operation worldwide.

We produce all dry chemical monoammonium phosphate (ABC), potassium bicarbonate (PK) and sodium bicarbonate (STANDARD) in our chemical mills.

Buckeye also manufactures a complete line of Environmentally Safe Fire Fighting Foams, including AFFF's, Class A Foam, High Expansion Foam, Training Foam and Flouroprotein Foam. Buckeye foams are available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, 275 gallon totes and bulk deliveries. Buckeye also offers freeze protected foam concentrates upon request.

Buckeye also supports our foam concentrates with a complete line of foam hardware. Buckeye offers nozzles, monitors, eductors, foam carts, twin agent units, self contained foam units, as well as custom engineered and designed foam systems.

With the ever increasing facility size and structural complexity for commercial and industrial applications, Buckeye has advanced the frontier of engineered suppression solutions with it's Clean Agent HFC-227ea engineered suppression systems. These typically include modular applications for Telecomunication Centers, facility storage of flamable liquid, supplemental Aspirating Smoke Detection Systems for early warning and more.
